This project focused on building a native iOS application that digitizes daily stable operations and horse care management. The product replaced paper logs, fragmented chats, and manual routines with a unified mobile system used by barn owners, staff, and horse owners. The engagement started from early product vision and MVP scoping, continued through beta launch with real users, and evolved into Version 2.0 after the client secured investment. The application effectively became an “operating system” for equestrian facilities, covering animal care, operations, services, communication, and task management in a single ecosystem.

Challenges
Stable management traditionally relied on physical logs, whiteboards, and scattered messaging between staff and horse owners. Important information about feeding routines, health records, training schedules, and daily chores was often lost in chats or handwritten notes. This created confusion, lack of accountability, and poor visibility into what was happening with each horse. At the same time, the client needed to move quickly from a product idea to a working MVP that could be tested by real barns and demonstrated to investors, while ensuring the architecture would support future scaling.

Solution
Devios acted as a core product engineering partner, helping translate the product vision into a structured MVP and scalable mobile architecture from day one. We built a native iOS application using Swift, SwiftUI, and a GraphQL-based backend with real-time subscriptions. The app included key modules such as a digital horse passport, facility scheduling, services booking, task assignment and tracking, and a centralized communication hub with clear separation between staff notes and owner-visible reports. Special attention was paid to usability in real working conditions, performance, and real-time data synchronization across devices. The result was a reliable mobile tool that barns could use daily as their primary management system, which directly enabled beta adoption and helped the client secure investment for Version 2.0.
